Certainly! We have Conquered Worlds, built Empires, and we Battled the Time Lords! Daleks are Supreme! What has Dr. Doom done? The Mad Ruler of a tiny kingdom, so small it's not listed on maps? Nothing. He may possess a brilliant mind, but he has accomplished nothing with it. Any Dalek is smarter than him and can do more!

If Dr. Doom wants to get better, he should look to a more successful super villain, Lex Luthor.

Luthor was President of the USA! LexCorp , Luthor's Mega-cartel, has its tentacles every where in the world. Luthor Practically OWNS Metropolis. Luthor's Intellect is feared and respected across the Universe. Doom is the petty Dictator of a tiny kingdom, and all he thinks about is trying to show up Reed Richards. He could be a true world power. He could make his country great. But, he doesn't. He's selfish, vain and petty.

This just reminds me, there was a storyline in "Super-Villain Team-Up" where Attuma's forces were battling Namor and Doom. Attuma's court jester tried to raise the troops' morale by making fun of Doom...thus proving himself the bravest person in the Marvel Universe. Of course, Doom executed the jester at the end of the story...

Well, of course Doom would kill off the jester! A spineless, worthless miserable waste of skin like Doom would kill off somebody who merely pointed out what a cowardly and useless armor clad idiot he was! It's no wonder Prince Namor always rejects his treacherous offers.
I am not happy with Victor Von Doom.

NOBODY laughs at Dr. Doom! (Unless of course, they're crazy, stupid, arrogant, suicidal, or just trying to mess with his mind...)

True, nobody laughs at Doom and gets away with it. Unless they earn his respect and being particularly clever or resourceful that is, and maybe Doom ignores it. Wonder how Doom's doing since Latveria was nuked? Does he still have contro of the asgardians and the Atlantean Army?

No idea, I'm still recovering from Latveria being nuked, that seems just a tad extreame to me, if only because not EVERY Latverian was the same type of troublemaker Dr. Doom was...

Yes, well Doomwas hanging out with a VERY bad crowd...He has a lot of work ahead of him... He can make all sorts of things for world destruction...How would he be at Nation Building?

Well, Dr. Doom is clever enough to cheat death to the point where I'm starting to wonder if death is getting tired of trying so it may be only a matter of time before Latveria is re-built, bigger and better than before!

well Doom can rebuild his country, the cities, but the explosion wiped out his castle their previous history, and the majority of his people...so he shouldn't be back any time soon. The loss of so many people has got to hurt, since whatever his megalomania,he took the subject of his government very seriously... he honestly believes he can rule the world and he should be in charge...and i've heard Doom is a fair ruler, tho very strict...but his subjects all had jobs, homes, and food, and the economy was prosperous...big job ahead. Where will the people come from?

Well, Dr. Doom only had one flaw as a leader, he thought he was worthy of total blind obedience! and that's fine, so long as he's not telling them to do something horribly WRONG. truly great leaders don't abhor people who question, they simply ANSWER the person who asked question in the FIRST place! but Doom's brutally huge ego has always been a much deadlier enemy to him than the Fantastic Four will EVER be... as for his people? Doom's in for a SEARCH that's for sure!

Well, it won't be so easy for Doom...building is possible, restoring the country difficult, but as a Great Leader, his people are going to demand an explanation of the disaster...he owes it to them, since it's indirectly his fault their capital was nuked...and he can't brush it off, because the world will be watching. And Doom is very much aware of his place as a world ruler...
And then, he'll need people...you figure his best and brightest citizens were all destroyed...maybe a Global appeal? He may be a tyrant, but there are far worse ones, and many people could care less about politics in favor of a quiet and abundant life...

Good point, I once saw Spider-Man get gutsy and say Doom was a tyrant and he couldn't wait to see him try to defend himself in front of a jury someday, I wonder if that's how it's going to be for him when he's trying to explain himself to any Latverian (I hope I spelled that correctly) survivors who aren't going to be quite so "hear and obey" as they USED to be...

well, he's going to probably try to twist the truth...tho Doom prided himself on not being a Liar...I suppose He'd tell them the truth...that the man he once called "MASTER",(like Doom could bow his knee to anyone) had destroyed the City out of a sense of evil, that it was a madman's act, and even he himself never realised the Master's depravity...How can he make it up to his people? Rebuilding, yes, and food and medical assistance, but how would he regain their trust? His enmities wrecked their nation, and a King's Duty is to his people...
