“I thought you were older, or are you not the same Zilla I met as a child?”

After Shin Gojira allows Legendary to leave, he immediately makes for Atlantis to seek out Gamera who was last seen leaving the atmosphere to confront the invaders. Although he hasn’t been seen since, Mothra’s guiding fairies tell him that they have seen Gamera crash land in the Pacific. Considering the Pacific Ocean is so big this does not help, although it is a start.
As he swims North along the coast of the Americas, Legendary encounters a disturbance in which an enormous frilled Kaiju is attacking a company of humans. They look to be a scientific team and as Legendary goes to aid them, he sees the smaller Kaiju, Zilla move in to protect them.
This is not the Zilla Legendary once encountered on his trips around the ocean but rather a descendant of that beast. It is a Junior, much like himself and unlike the first who hated humans, this one is actively protecting them. Legendary does not help the young lizard as he seems to be able to defend himself and his human wards with no problem. The smaller lizard is quick, intelligent and leaves the frilled monster with a large wound in its chest and its frill torn up.
The frilled Kaiju swears vengeance however Legendary makes his presence known and the coward flees with its tail between his legs. Legendary’s appearance scares some of the humans however he has no interest in them, turning his attention to the young Zilla. Zilla is surprised, remarking that everyone had heard that he had gone into the den of the Scarlet King, Shin Gojira, and most people assumed that he was dead.
Legendary ignores his remarks and notes that Zilla protects these humans, to which Zilla defends himself saying he can do what he likes. He’s too small of a Kaiju to be of any note to the others so he might as well protect the humans who spared and raised him. Legendary finds this admirable however notices that despite driving the Frilled monster away, his leg was hurt in the battle. Legendary helps the young Lizard and at Zilla’s request, also helps the humans whose boat had sprung a leak during the fight and was rapidly sinking.
The lead human, Nick Tatopoulos, founder of HEAT [Humanitarian Environmental Analysis Team] although upset at the damage done to their ship, The Heat Seeker, he realises through his strange bond with Zilla, that Godzilla is looking for something. After managing some crude communication between his team and the two Kaiju, he manages to get the information across that his team was requested by Monarch to look for Gamera who crashed landed back to Earth not too far from Seatopia.
It seems in the recent crisis, Monarch has been stretched thin and lacked the resources to deal with King Ririn’s Earth Assault now relying on independent or Government teams such as Japan’s Science Patrol and the Independent HEAT.
Legendary is pleased with Zilla and the humans’ aid, enough that offers Zilla his favour, provided of course they all survive this horrible mess. He then makes a beeline for Seatopia, knowing that Megalon could pose a threat to an injured Gamera as he has long wanted to claim Atlantis as his own.
At the same time as this, Ultraman is requested to assist in finding Gamera however the Ultra is busy dealing with two other Ultras who have suddenly appeared on Earth. Jet Jaguar is sent to Seatopia to find Gamera instead.
King Ririn returns to his Moon fortress to regain his strength and his prepare for his confrontation with Yoroi Gojira. Before he goes into a healing incubation, Ultraman Belial insists upon building a new armour for the SpaceGodzilla. Orga and Gigan are suspicious at this offer however Ririn is emotionally drained and physically exhausted from his brief mission on Earth, his illness clearly taking its toll on his body. Thinking nothing of it, Ririn accepts Belial’s offer before putting himself into an induced coma.
Shin Gojira watches events through the Krystalak he gave Ririn, anticipating his next moves and sends a Shin Humanoid to follow and spy on Legendary Gojira, still content to merely watch.
Dr Serizawa sets off with Vivian Graham to track down and follow Legendary Gojira outside Monarch jurisdiction, well aware that his actions may cost him his position as head of the Monarch Science Division.

HEIGHT: 55 metres
LENGTH: 95 metres
ATTRIBUTES:
One of the fastest Kaiju, can out run almost every Kaiju.
Very agile
Intelligent.
Extremely powerful bite force.
Green Corrosive Fire Breath, not atomic but can actually rust and wear away materials such as metals.
Has venom like a Komodo Dragon. The venom is slow taking and can kill over several days.
Long Whip Tail. Can crack it to make explosive sounds that intimidate or scare off creatures.
One of the smallest Kaiju however is deceptively dangerous.
Protects his small group of humans fiercely. Would probably try to take on Godzilla for them. He’d lose, but he’d try his hardest.
Loyal
Most of the bigger Kaiju don’t bother with him.
His species was once plentiful in number, however they where a food source for a lot of the bigger Kaiju like the Gojiras and others.
Last known of his species, doesn’t mind much. He befriends others easily.
Chin.
Likes fish. Will exchange pleasantries and favours in exchange for fish. Though it must be copious amounts of the creatures.
PERSONALITY:
Is one of the nicer Kaiju. Wants to make friends with everyone. Is wary of the bigger ones however as a lot of them used to eat his species.
Despite his bulk, has learned to be gentle with humans and is surprisingly careful with them.
Can be naive at times however makes up for it by being endearing.
Can be quite snarky and a little bit of a trickster.
Sometimes wishes he was smaller so he could interact with his human friends better.
Goes berserk if his human companions are hurt.
Sometimes goes adventuring off on his own but never more than a few days.
Hates Nigel. Plays a little game to see how many times he can destroy it until it stops being rebuilt.
MONARCH NOTES:
Zilla is classed as a benign or SAFE Kaiju
The creature poses no threat to humans so long as he is under the jurisdiction of HEAT.
Recent observations of Titanus ‘Legendary’ Gojira and the creature show that the two have established a kind of friendship.
The Submersible Flagship; Gotengo is still in dry dock however it has been confirmed at the vessel has passed all tests and is ready to be deployed at a moments notice.
The search for Shin Gojira has had funding cuts as the SpaceGodzilla takes priority.
Ishiro Serizawa has taken it upon himself to dedicate his time to following and studying Titanus ‘Legendary’ Gojira. We have reason to believe that Dr Serizawa has discovered information regarding Shin Gojira and is withholding the information.
The Hokmuto’s now classified as: Critically Endangered.
