Description I started working on a new series of illustrations for new pulp publisher Airship 27 - in this case, a Weird Western entitled Silver Riders, by Greg Hatcher.

In this second illustration:
The scene above, as Lisbet leans over the glowing black shards, with Ezekiel standing by her side gauging her reaction.

I love how the shards have a different graphic look to the people and the background.

Thanks!  I did them completely separately before doing the rest, because I wanted them to have a 'different/otherworldly' feel & texture.
