I love his expression in the last panel. The way you handle ink is amazing as always, what kind of brush do you use? I picked up some of those chinese brushes recently and I'm liking them.

Thanks! It's "Coach Tom Fallbrook, Unleashed!"
As for brushes, I use a Windsor & Newton Cotman 222 #1 round for everything but spotting large areas of black. For those I just use an older, dead brush where I don't mind about maintaining the point.
I've been using the same brush for inking for ... something like 4 years. Long enough where some of the metal part is totally tarnished. I'm afraid if I let the point get mussed up that I won't be able to ink with anything else! I picked up a small handful of replacements just in case, but with natural bristles, you get a different shape with every brush, it seems like. Very few I've found are perfectly round with a sharp point that isn't too long.
I've tried other brushes, and for a couple years, I switched to using dip pen nibs. Nothing seems as comfy, fast, and versatile than the #1 to me, though.
So the Chinese brushes, are those like the sumi yi types with the really huge bristles? Are you using them for your current Napoleon story?

The chinese brushes I'm using have really soft, natural bristles, and narrow to a fine point. I like their versatility, but they don't last very long and it's hard for me to get good control out of them.
Thanks for the brush recommendation, I'm in the market for a new brush and it seems like what I'm looking for.
