Description Right now on the radio they have this guy who yapping about how he coaches people to use better body language (he claims he used techniques to be a better than normal salesman)....

Well if you got some people teaching people how to act to get more followers and you got _other people_ telling how to "read" body language, doesn't this atleast partially become just as "artificial" as any other "language" and that people from different cultures who learned different things are going to act differently?

This guy said I think that he coached world leaders not to use certain "karate chops" or "fist shakes" while public speaking :-D ...  If this varies from county to country than what good is reading "body language" as a cure all for everything?

Frank Zappa: "Now I thought it was a razor. And a can of foaming goo. But he told me right then when the top popped off that there was nothing his box won't do ....  And it'll cure your asthma too....

And I said 'Look here brotha.  Who you jivin' with that cosmic debris?'!"

I'm not saying that all or even most of such talk about "people reading" is hogwash, but I AM saying that people need to be extremely weary when it comes to believing they have "a system" that is always accurate everytime.

I have some very reliable theories I have discovered about other similar things in life, but I am extremely careful what influences actual decisionmaking without any additional evidence.
