reboot dropped and everyone else is doing Tommy to celebrate, so might as well try and do a decent one since all my others sucked mega assthe reboot itself is fine other than some really dumb choices, most notably being chaz's voice being extra terrible and grandpa being someone completely different, them ruining grandpa is damn near a deal breaker in terms of watching the series at all tbh that shit is just foul. other than that and some pacing issues, cringe technology references and overall less expressive animation, its fine

Hillenburg was already on board with the spin offs people keep taking something he said over 20 years ago at the start of the series as absolute fact and think someone cant change their mind over said 20 years and its wrong

the later seasons rounded them out alot more to regular ovals when they went for a more cleaned up look but i always liked the older ones more
