Like this high 2 burst fire assault rifle. Too bad it wasn't use in the Russian military, or paratroopers, or neither the Spetsnaz forces too. Wish they need to modify it better so no jamming problems of this gun.

The thing is AN-94 is to complex in construction and requires constant maintenance, so... no. It would be better for it to be forgotten.
You can see disassembling process here

In battlefield 3 these have a monster recoil.

It still has a huge recoil. Not as bad as the G3a3 but still bad.

nope. Use a Heavy Barrel and Bipod with 3.4x sight. Even without the bipod deployed the recoil is more than manageable. just dont spam the trigger to fast. Its a fantastic gun when youve learned how to use it. Way better than the wimpy F2K and M16s

I hate the M16 in BF3. Overrated, over used. Just like F2K and M249.

haha, The SCAR-L isnt too bad, and I suck so bad with the AUG, but yes, it is rather irritating.
I just suck with the weapons that most people use, I cant use the weapons that benefit from just going full auto on people. I have to control my bursts, and that makes the recoil increase with those weapons.
Its why I lean towards the AN-94, FAMAS(For burst its burst fire option) AEK(for burst) and G3A3.
At least when I play as th emedic anyway.

That's too bad about the AEK-971. :/ I think my three most favorite Russian assault rifles are the AK-74, the AN-94, and the AS Val. ;D
Now that I think about it, us Americans don't have as many different varieties of assault rifles as you guys. xD Most of well-known assault rifles are built on the Stoner AR-15 design... But I guess you can say the same about many Russian assault rifles.
Argh, I want to draw guns again! I don't have my supplies with me, though. >.<

Same question as Airborne.. WHAT SORCERY IS THIS!?
Also, this is rather good in BFBC2, especially with the ACOG. Bane of wookies pretty much (that is if you know where they are).

Unique to the AN-94, the barrel, gas tube, receiver, and bolt carrier all exist as a single component group moving back and forth along an axis parallel to the bore, suspended within what the Russian manufacturers call an Effect-Envelopeβthe external composite fibre/polymer stock. Simply, this function separates the events inside the rifle from what the person operating the weapon actually experiences (i.e. low recoil).
The motion described is also employed by design to drive the unique rotary conveyor mechanism that performs the separate ammunition pre-feeding cycle that is key to the extremely rapid two round burst function that defines the AN-94 system. This high rate of fire (1,800 rounds/min) also offers two initial shots on selected fully automatic fire, with following rounds cycling down to 600 rounds/min. This offers the operator the unique tactical advantage of trigger-controlled fire selection.
