Spring Lantern Festival 2023 in Sheffield
This took SO LONG to make and I've finally got it to a point where I'm happy with it
In Sheffield you do actually see quite a few sky lanterns dotted around for the occasion. This is the first time since 2020 I've gotten to make art for it as well as a SpeedPaintIts nice to make some nice calm art for a change with a few of my characters just chilling and watching the lanterns go by
I experimented with lighting and shading for this both with the building and the moonlight as well as the colour schemes for the buildings down below
I also managed to get a fair few Sheffield landmarks into it including Park Hill and the Clock Tower. Hope you all like it.LINKTREE
