Description

This crane ship passes by the German island of Borkum (in the background) as it heads to the Dutch harbor of the Eemshaven. This ship got a massive 5000 ton crane onboard which they use to build wind turbines on the north sea. I was not planning on waiting for this ship, s I headed down the dike to meet up with the ship as it heads towards the harbor. The Eemshaven is used to store part and equipment for the contruction of wind farms at sea.

Edit, I did not realize. that this was the first time that this ship headed towards the Eemshaven. As it would pickup it very first windmill part to sail out to sea for the first time where it was made for.
