Description
Just another Victorian-inspired outfit. Once I get the hang of the self timer on my new camera, I'll have more to show.The jacket, vest, and skirt were store bought and severely altered.

I really, really love this outfit of yours. I'm not ashamed to say that I've tried to emulate it >> I actually found a pretty close velvet jacket similar to yours at the local thrift store (I was excited!) the only thing it lacks are the puffy sleeves. :>

Thank you! The skirt needs fixing, but the whole outfit (minus hat) was thrifted. The skirt was a floor length that I shortened and altered. I also altered the jacket and vest. I must have taken the vest in about 10 inches!
I tend to only post outfits I've sewn myself, but I thought this one was particularly cute.
I will post a picture of a skirt I just made (out of a shower curtain from the thrift store) with a written tutorial of how I made it really soon. So keep watching for it, it's really easy!
