No, cute sad looking semi-goth girl! Don't do it! Don't buy the potion! It's not the answer!I've been taking abstract suggestions on the sketchblog that I share with , and one was "Old, privately owned ramshackle store that sells bottled emotions," but I ajusted it a bit to play on the old horror cliche.

I really like the inking in this picture! Did you use a nib or a paint brush.
I suck at either one....I'm not very neat so it gets everywhere.

I used a Pentel Brushpen, which is a nice alternative to brushes (if you don't feel ready to take that step), and a lot more portable. They're expensive (around $20), but they're refillable and worth it. I've never used a nib, and never plan to.

I love this one! And the old store that sells bottles of potions idea, the store probably dissapears when you try to show it to friends the next day.
...this reminds me of the story where the cure for the love potion was a bottle of poison. *angst*

I like the looks on both womens faces in this. You've got the older woman looking confidently at the bottle in the girls hands, and you've got the girl somewhat nervously asking if it'll work. Regardless of whether it works at all, or works too well, I have no doubt in my mind that the sign by the register says, all sales final.
