This time instead of a couple new character assets, I'm posting some work from some of the in-game card stuff. Hnggg, I wish I could talk about it more. Instead have Hana ([link] ) all chillin and looking pensive in a garden or some shit.I was thiiiiiis close to drawing Maiko hiding in there somewhere like the creeper he/she/it/(???!?) is. I might still.
If anyone has an ipad and is looking to test a game, by the way, feel free to shoot me a note. We're getting close to the stage where we're going to need some more testers soon.

As always, really nice job with painting and textures. Somehow, it looks like it's been painted over a clay board, the texture is almost earthy.

Glad you got that impression! I was working with a paper texture I use all too often, but I tweaked the curves on it to try and bring out some of the less evident, beautiful stuff beneath.
