I went through these starting with 14 and going back. 
I never wondered what happened to decommissioned starships. I mean, they'll most likely be recycled as well as possible, but maybe there are some ship grave yards out there in the ST universe, still. Either because some nations find it more profitable to get rid of their junk rather than recycling it and create huge junk yards in space, or because ships legitimately get lost in a specific region of space, never to be seen again...

There was a Depot for decommissioned Starships in the TNG two-parter "Unification". And I'm pretty sure there are "forgotten" Graveyards out there, especially after the big wars, like the romulan war, or the dominion war. Mass graves of destroyed starships that can't be salvaged - at least for a while - because of radiation leaks or something like that.

That makes a lot of sense. Talking to you (or about stuff you initiated XD) I realise I have a lot to catch up on in TNG. It's the series I know least episodes of.

Hm, I know the "stiffness" of TNG is not everyones cup of tea, but there are really good Episodes in the show, especially in Seasons 3, 4 and 5.

I actually like TNG. But I watched all of both VOY and DS9 in the last few years, to fill the gaps missed episodes on TV have created, for nostalgia, etc., and somehow missed out on TNG. XD Before that, DS9 was actually the one of the three series set in the 24th century that I knew least about. Now it's shifted to TNG. (Thinking about it, I put my last comment wrongly, anyway. TOS or ENT would probably be the series I know the least episodes of - I don't actually know, which ^^°-, unless we count the animated series. I don't think I know even one episode of that one, sadly.)
But thanks for the seasons suggestions! Any concrete fav episodes I could check out, too?

I don't know much about the animated show as well. The animation style is just really bland and hard to watch somehow :/ Enterprise is quite... well it's a mixed bag. First season was kinda good, the second season was really bad and boring, season number three was the right idea in the wrong show (I expected something like that on Voyager) and the fourth season is propably my favorite of all Star Trek.

-The Measure of a Man
-Who watches the Watchers
-First Contact
-Ensign Ro
-Deja Vu
-All Good Things

I watched a total of 3 episodes of ENT: "In a Mirror, Darkly (1+2)" and "Bounty". So no impression of what the seasons are like, but I really enjoyed Voyager, so I'm kind of curious now how I'd view ENT's season 3. And 4, of course. XD
"The Measure of a Man", "Who watches the Watchers" and "Ensign Ro" all were TNG episodes I liked very much, too. Then "Chain of Command", of course - it's a must have for a Cardie fan, isn't it?
