omgie ballet shoes! ^__^ finally we get to draw something that's not an ellipse! ah that felt good. anyway....24"x36" done in...charcoal and a white chalk pastel again! geeeeese. i went out and bought some GOOD 4.50$ paper though(we're talking just one sheet too...) it's arches watercolour paper(french) and is a wonderful quality. it makes me cry though that i had to waste good watercolour paper on charcoal. freaking charcoal -.- i couldn't get a drawing paper that was the right size. my teacher is on crack.

Aaah ellipses, my old arch nemesis. Very nice rendering, way better than my shoe drawing. Every art school seems to be rather fond of the good ole' shoe drawing assignment XD

this is really good, the charcoal looks soft, and the shading is effective, maybe you could have used more of the white and highlighted the edges a bit more? Other than that i think its lovely, i love the satin effect of the ribbons

thank you very much. i know i could have done a little better job on it, but truth be told i was getting a little sick of it at the time. thank you for your input, though, i'll keep that in mind next time. ^__^
