'K, I said in my recent journal entry that I wouldn't be around DA that much today, due to me going to a friend's wedding, but luckily it's not gonna start until this evening, so I figured I'd spend a little time dinking around in Daz Studio for a bit.

Before anyone asks, the title is NOT a lie. The girl in the pic is in fact my tough girl OC, Ayumi Watanabe. And it looks like a couple of crooks caught her snooping around their hideout, and she's getting ready to kick their butt! Will she prevail?

Even though I did a few changes to her model a few months or so back, as shown here , I wasn't really all that pleased with how she turned out. It didn't help that I had a very small A4 library at the time, either. ><
In any case, this version of Miss Watanabe is sometihng of a throwback to her Ayumi vs. random thug days, with her wearing a jacket, top, and a skirt, though the styles and materials for her new threads are very much different to what she originally wore in that render and its follow-ups. Though they're not shown in the pic, her shoes are unchanged - I thought they looked OK in Ver. 2, so I kept them in Ver. 3.
Another change to Ayumi is her hairstyle and color. I decided to use a different hairset, and go with black for hair color. Don't worry, she still dyes it every now and then. I just felt like giving her something more basic, compared to the colors I gave her in her previous models.

On an unrelated note, I'm still messing around with the lights in Daz Studio as well. I think I'm starting to the hang of it, some.
