I say that camera takes a great shot. The colors are really vibrant and the exposure looks dead on...

Yeah.. I've had some frustrations taking indoor portraits with this camera, but then I think I've had some pretty decent shots as well that kinda balance them out. Just gotta keep fiddling around I guess ^_^ Thanks for the feedback!

It's pretty typical to have difficulties shooting indoors. The number one problem being having to slow the shutter speed way down in order to capture the available light which is normally very minimal inside. Pay attention to your shutter speed. If it is longer than 1/60th of a second then your gonna wanna stabalize your camera somehow by setting it on a table or some kind of platform or putting it on a tripod. If you don't stabalize the camera you'll get "camera shake" capturing the movement of the camera as the shutter opens and closes... To eliminate this while hand holding the shutter speed should be at least 1/60th or prefferably 1/250th or faster... The faster the better. Also, the more you zoom in the lens the more likely you are to get shake. So if you zoom in, make sure you have a fast shutter speed or the camera is stabalized. To get a faster shutter you can adjust the camera's "ISO" or sensitivity to light. The higher the ISO the more sensitive the camera is to light giving you faster shutter speeds. However, raising the ISO introduces digital noise or grain into your captures so be aware of that when you bump it up.
Hope that this is helpful in someway and sorry if it's all too technical or too much or you already know this stuff... I can get carried away sometimes... Just take it a piece at a time and before you know it it'll all be second nature. You have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

not bad for a new camera. I can tell that once you tinker with it, you're going to have some amazing shots. Good luck ^^
