After a consensual bondage sex scene, April (Chloe Hunter), our lovely blonde damsel, asked Ross, her "boyfriend" to release her before he goes to meet a friend who just called to ask a favor. Unfortunately for her, a highly narcotized Ross had not just left her naked and spread eagle tied to his bed, but also he gagged and blindfolded her with duck tape. Ross promised to April that he would return soon, turn on the stereo and leaves.

Ross seems to forget about April until the night, then he leaves her a phone message to apologize and tell her that he will be there as soon as he can.

Most of April's plot is about her staying naked and tied up for four days unable to convince Ross to freed her. She remains gagged and blindfolded most of the time, but there are some nice views of her uncovered beautiful eyes.

Sometime later Ross had a moment of clarity and realizes what he had done to April so he goes to his apartment to release her in the company of Nikki, the co-star of the movie. When arriving they discovered that April has escaped and vandalized his apartment. Later it's implied that Ross' neighbor (played by Deborah Harry) released April. There is a deleted scene that shows this moment.

Chloe Hunter has reached a legendary status among the DID community.

There are several things that make her DID scenes so great.

The nudity is the most obvious reason. She not just looks astonishing, there are a good amount of shots of her tied body from a good variety of angles. Her nakedness also makes her look so much more vulnerable than if she had worn any clothes.

As a blindfold lover, the way Ross tapes April's eyes it's another selling point to me. It adds another layer of vulnerability to her situation. I know some people don't like blindfolds because it covers the victim's gaze, but sometimes it's a price that i'm willing to pay in order to show how the damsel has no control over her situation.

Also there is the peril factor. While it's clear that Ross doesn't have any intention to harm April, is his mind state that made the whole situation so tense. There are a lot of bad things that could happened to April, the first of them being abandoned alone in the apartment indefinitely left to starve. Ross may not be a villain at all, and he have some redeemeable qualities, but still he is a shitty person.

At the end, April doesn't get harmed, but she still have to endure all manner of discomfort, besides her own bondage. The first entire day she is tormented by the sound of a skipping CD player at loud volume that Ross turned on in a failed attempt to keep April entertained. Additionally, as you can guess, when Ross leaves her alone for long periods of time, she had no way to use the toilet, so she have to hold the urges for hours.

Chloe Hunter's acting is pretty convincing. She have some lovely scenes squirming in an attempt to escape her bondage. She expressed very well her character's anger, frustation, fear, helplessness and sadness; even when she is blindfolded. I want to highlight that moment when April starts to cry before she's about to be blindfolded one last time in the movie.

Luckily Deborah Harry's character saves the day and gets the girl. i would have prefered if the rescue scene made it into the final cut, but even without that segment, it's a explicit happy ending to April.
