Oh man, I was working on the black backround to my Baby in the womb drawing tonight. I accidentally bought some water soluble Graphite pencils, 2b, 4b, 6b and 8b. Well, I don't like using them on smooth bristol because they are very waxy and don't shade smoothly (without water). Anyways, I used my Prismacolor Jet Black/Very Smooth pencils because they're black. Well the 1st one was pretty short, so I filled in about 25%, then it got too small to handle so I switched to the other one, (same exact pencil type mind you) and the son of a bitch wasn't as black as the other one. So now, I've got two different shades of black in the backround. It's going to drive me crazy and I don't know how to fix it. I can't really. But, I'm thinking maybe the first pencil isn't completely gone yet, I'll just layer over the tone change and hopefully it get's as black as it should be. Only worry is the bristol's tooth is all filled and they graphite won't hold. Uhhh... Anyways, I'm done venting for the day. Back to work tomorrow. Thanks for the print idea. I think that's what I'll do. I've already got some people interested in buying some prints of the Baby one. Now that I'm almost done I'm starting to wonder what I should do next. Maybe a goofy self portrait with a dark twist. I don't know yet... I got alot more work to do if I wanna catch up with you. I'd say learning how to paint for starters, then I won't have to spend 6 hours filling in a solid black backround with a damn pencil. Ha... Thanks for the tips man, u take it easy...

Sounds like a bummer. Definitely one of the reasons I don't do to many pencil pieces. I'm sure you'll get it figured out man. Good news about the possibility of some sales.
Hell yeah! Get some painting going.
Most welcome.
Take it easy bro.

Oh man, the way you make things seem wet and slimey. I could learn so much from you... I CAN learn so much from you. Believe me, I will be sitting here, looking at your art so much from now on to try and figure out what you did and how to do the same thing. Of course, I work in photoshop so it probably won't be as hard for me, but anyway... dayum.
