Description This is a Sten Mark 2 Submachine Gun.

Next to it is the box shaped 32 round Magazine which would be loaded into the clip gripper on the left side as the cocking bolt which also serves as the Safety-Armed switch is to the right, unlike most SMGs the Sten pushes its bolt forward rather than backward when being fired and as you can expect it's Fully-Automatic.

You may think crude weapon and that is most understandable, it looks like a load of pipes welded together into a homemade weapon and the clip also served as a gripping handle when the Gun was in use but it still did the job.

Setting from armed to safe was straight forward for an SMG design but thanks to the crudely simple design all a wielder had to do was take the cocking bolt in his/her hand, pull it back slightly, lower it down to the armed position and it was ready to fire.

It saw action in WW2, The Indonesian National Revolution, The Chinese Civil War, The Malayan Emergency, The Korean War, The Mau Mau Uprising, The Suez Crisis, The 1948 Arab-Israeli War, The Sino-Indian War, The Vietnam War, The Rhodesian Bush War, The Turkish invasion of Cyprus, The Indo-Pakistan Wars, The IRA Border Campaign, The Troubles and the British Colonial Conflicts so it saw a lot of action before retiring.

However not all users were Military, some criminal syndicates like the Yakuza acquired some off the black market.
