Decided to replay one of my favorite modes in Half Genie Hero. Seriously, if you're a fan of Shantae and if you haven't play any of the Mighty Switch Force games, I strongly suggest you do. Oh boy, I didn't think I would get a time this good. I pretty much master the rhythm in this mode. Frankly, I'm not that into speedrunning, but something about speedrunning Shantae games or levels in Mario Maker is just so satisfying. Basically, I'm just waiting until I get a Switch and pick up Smash Ultimate. Thanks again for such an amazing game.

Thanks, typically I'm a casual speedrunner, but I do enjoy getting good times in these type of games. That game you mention call Contra 4, it does look very Wayforward-ish, some backgrounds look kinda similar to Shantae. (at least the older ones)
Hopefully, they do decide to put Shantae in Smash, Matt does want her in, but we just need Sakurai's approval, poor guy's Twitter is bombarded by Waluigi fans.
Aww, thanks again for the old Miiverse pic. Back then I was wondering what a baby version of Shantae would look like, she has the same cuteness as her older counterpart.

I was addicted to Contra and Mario saga. one of the principal reasons I met Shantae.
Yeah, it happened just like with Daisy. Her petition was pending for a year and finally, she has her opportunity. Hope it goes well with Shantae too.
