My advice, which helped me a lot, is when you think youre done with one step like sketching or shading or such, flip the canvas horizontally. It will show you an entirely new view, since your eyes are used to it being opposite. Much easier to spot what needs to be fixed, also it really shows you have a grasp on dimensional space, your shading is pretty good

Thank you for the suggestion, I actually do that already (along with rotating the canvas and sometimes even inverting the colors) and it helps a lot. Oh and thank you for the compliment!

Looking good! I love the shading style and the sepia tones that connote something long past.Β
If I could point anything out though, the Raichu jumping seems a bit out of place in this piece in my mind. Maybe since it's a mid-air pose but the tail and hind legs are all curled in? I would suggest stretching them out behind if you ever did something like this in the future.Β
The Absol looking directly towards the viewer messes with the flow of the piece a bit, too, seeing as all the other characters are facing to the left.

Overall, it's an awesome drawing. I basically have no complaints. The only thing I'm curious about is the Espeon in the middle. Is it supposed to be in the background or is it sitting on the Pokemon below it? Other than that question, I love it! Makes me wanna break out my DS/GBC and play Pokemon again.Β
