yo creo que nunca pasará, si incluso con lo que han explotado los derechos sobre Pesadilla Antes de Navidad todavía no han salido con las típicas paridas de la secuela en la que un malo malísimo amenaza el dulce Halloween todo en colores pastel creo ya nada les podrá suceder! Ya he mirado el enlace, me gustan bastante vuestras viñetas (especialmente esa en la que parece el 'cole' al que fue Edward...)
Por cierto *autopublicidad* he hecho un dibujo que ¡milagro! me salió bien de una especie de OC burtoniano, por si quieres verlo en mi perfil... *fin de la autopublicidad*

I have to admit, they're not really that bad (though I have to admit the theme song is kinda catchy) but at least they're more tolerable than Bratz and Barbie. In a way they're the physical metaphor that we humans are really flawed and in a way monsters (some are COMPLETE MONSTERS that are beyond redemption and forgiveness), but we manage to find a way to make it our advantage and show the world what we are made of. Sure we're freaks of nature, but who isn't?
Odd balls, stand up! Wallflowers, stand up! Stand up for your individuality and take those flaws of yours and weaponize against those who see perfection as the only option.
And that is the Tim Burton way!

I don't actually mind Monster High dolls, yes there is waaaaay too much publicity, but at the same time their a unique and new idea, which yes is girly and slightly juvinile because of thw audience it's directed towards.
But nowadays with Barbies, Brats, Liv and whatever the hell is out there they are a slight breath of fresh air.
I mean what other line of toys sells disemembered doll parts so you can mix and match pieces to make your own doll.
The way I see it they promote being unique and different and let's face it it's as creppy and out there as far as mainstream childerns toys will go for a bit.

yeah I guess you are right in there of being unique and that but I dunnow I dont like the idea that the monsters used to scare so much childy little pants now are just a bunch of silly gossiping teenagers...I mean Is not even logical! Besides I think that the desing of any doll is the principal reason of why lots of chubby gilrs are unhappy...I hate that...is just stereotypes...
Well what can I do with just 15 years and just 5 feet heigh against all those macro companies by the moment...

Oh I know all about being unhappy because of stereotypes, but it makes me happy to at least see that sure they're still girly and have "perfect" bodies, but they aren't normal and everyday, they are unique and I love that. It is though general marketing, supply and demand. Besides that most parents wouldn't be happy with their childern running around with dark and dcreepy looking toys that aren't promoting that perfection that usual toys do. Personally me? All for it, but I grew into my love of the odd and creepy. So really there just needs to be a toy market directed to the teens who love the creepy and unusual, because keep in mind they are childerns toys. Actually there are dolls, collector doll mind you but I saw them at Otafest and fell in love... wish I rememebred what they were called.
Anywho I greatly enjoy making fun of Barbie, because she just isn't how she used to be I mean looking back at some barbies they were works of art, but this is the world today.
Probably why I love antiques, they remind me of a day when hard work and time was put into everything about it.
Anywho sorry more ranting.
