AstelEvery winter, Astel, sits patiently; gently, she rings her bells. They tease the wind with gentle chimes that carry on through out the forest. The snow will then fall.

I use a size .18 rapidograph pen and india ink. Those pens are crazy expensive individually but you can go on ebay and get a set of 7 for the price of one new and still in package. The price is extremely reasonable that way. I used to use everything from pilot pens to sharpies to pigma pens. But, these pens are amazing.
I could't really tell you how I do my textures. First, I start with a base line like in the trees I draw it out almost like swirls for the grain in the wood. Then I shade kind of as if the pen is really a prencil I don't apply much pressure.
