Fennars are small, nocturnal mammalian creatures that make a habit of collecting and foraging. They live in small groups (no more than five) and keep enormous stores of berries, mushrooms, and other fruits in their burrows beneath the ground, rarely venturing out for anything else other than scavenging. Notable features on Fennars are their large ears, which provide them with excellent hearing ability, and an assortment of light-coloured spots on their back. In addition, they are fairly nimble, and will sometimes use their tail to hang high from trees in order to keep a lookout for any dangers that may be approaching their home.
