My 5th and largest crossover poster (in terms of characters) to date, TRIUMPH OR DIE.

USELESS NOTES YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT:
Like most of my posters, I googled this heavily before I decided to go ahead and do it myself, and I was surprised to find that no one had really done this yet.

Sure, there was Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat fan art out there, but most either featured a small handful of characters, or were just mashups of sprites or promo art.

So, I took it upon myself to shoulder the burden.

I wanted this to be another nostalgia piece, taking inspiration from when these 2 were at the height of their rivalries- So I used all of the fighters from Street Fighter II and matched them up as well as I could with fighters from the first 3 MK games.

Unlike SFII, the MK characters varied in appearance throughout the series, so I picked and chose which designs I felt would compliment the characters best in this image.

I did my best to stay on model, but there were some liberties taken- Most notably with Kano. I couldn't find any reference for the back of his bandoleer thing from MK3, so I had to reference the one he wore in the first game. Also, I had to give him the knife from the movie- Y'know, the one he used to nice smile on Sonya's partner- Ear *sklchhhhhh* to ear.

I don't draw near as much as I used to, so this was definitely an exercise in endurance for me. I hope you enjoy it. Look for the colored version coming soon.
