Description This piece was the very first colored painting I did for my still life painting class. We had to do a monochromatic painting and choose the color blue. This was one of the most difficult projects I've done to that point. I will admit that painting is one of my weakest aspects. I'm not much of a painter. I never really painted anything before this class. But this project might of been difficult, but it's a project that really needed as an artist, because this is the painting that really got me going with my art. I started to see a lot more colors in everything and shadows and lights correctly.
Anyway, this still life has a little velvet stuffed dog with a bowl and cup on blue fabric. I have to saw that I really love how the fabric turned out even though I know there are a couple of mistakes xD. Critique as you please. I always REALLLYYY need help with painting, so the more critique I get on my paintings the better. Enjoy.

Acrylic on canvas
Size: 16" x 20"
Time: Probably over 30 hours in two weeks. I'm a slow painter ;^;.
