People seem to be making anthropomorphized versions of EVERYTHING lately. So why not the two sides of the sliding scale of idealism vs. cynicism?

(Their personalities are that of an idealist/cynic taken to the extreme and then some. )

Idealism is a sweet, innocent girl who can see the good in everyone. She solves all her problems peacefully and urges all the people in her life to get along.

Cynicism is a broken, depressed woman who has seen all the horrors of this world. She sees humanity as a plague upon this earth and tends to resort to violence.
