Earlier this year I too tried out a different illustration technique than I was normally accustomed to when I attempted to draw cracked glass and cracks in general in an upload of mine. Wasn't the best, but came out alright I guess. This though...just takes it completely to a whole other level despite the simplicity of the composition. Really admire the nooks and crannies you managed to etch into the objects. The highlights really sell it, and the shading is nicely seamless while still managing to separate the objects from one another. Major props for your effort.
