You know, when I first heard the name I was not expecting a him to look like this. I expected more bulk with broader shoulders and kind ofย thick mustache. Something more like a safari colonel

Because he'd only ever been mentioned once in the books (Philosopher's Stone), I'd never really thought about what Newt would look like. It wasn't until I saw a picture someone had posted here on DA a few years ago that showed him as a young man that I'd ever put any kind of face to the name. So when Eddie Redmayne was cast in the role I wasn't that surprised. That would be something fun to draw one day, imagining what all of the authors of Harry's schoolbooks look like lol.ย
