Ooh, she looks awesome. There are some many cool variations of Catwoman-style outfits and I like the cowl and the bit around the neck, and the little bit of her hair we can see flowing behind her. Very cool scene with the art and other shinies just waiting to be stolen

The overall "weight" of mask vs. hat/cap goes not to the masked Catwoman.
Latest comic incarnations has goggles (I'm not a fan of) with a cap. Tim Burton's version had a cap, the one we shouldn't mention with Hale had a (Mickey Mouse) cap. Eartha Kitt wore a mask, so did Julie Newmar and Ms. Hathaway. The purple cartoon version has I guess both, but the comic book version is predominantly again with a cap.
From a fetish point of view it includes more of her head in leather or latex. It's also easier to attach ears to her head this way, although I like the way it was "solved" in Nolan's 3th Batman movie.
