The look in her eyes...the smirk on her mouth...not someone you want to deal with!

i once took a life art course--live models, not a bit sexual, it did teach me to really see tones and shapes, for instance, in my back yard in the summer there are no less than nine shades of green! wish i could pain like the artists here do, but i am a wordsmith. really do try--usually--to see what is really there.

Definitely a 'Styx and Stones' based joke here to be made. Or something dirty based on the Styx making you invulnerable if you go in it.
Β Anyway, really cool image. I like the outfit composition, the different parts compliment each other nicely. If anything says 'modern day daughter of the god of death', this is probably it.Β

also, not the daughter of the god of death technically; daughter of the god of the underworld. Small difference I know but there is an actual god of death, Thanatos, who wanders around. A real grim reaper or angel of death looking type, seriously, he even has wings.

You have a twisted mind.
It's one of many reasons I like you so much.

*goes on nerd rant about Hades not really being much of a villain (especially compared to the other gods) in mythology, the underworld was sectioned into different places that were essentially heaven and hell, etc., etc.*
I dig the tights.

COUGH COUGH we all make mistakes COUGH COUGH
Probably best to say "Hades was no worse than the other gods." And I've heard that some takes on Persephone have her running off to escape her overbearing mother, but that could just be a modern-day, bad boy romance thing.

Well compared to Zeus' many "seductions", infidelities, illegitimate children, etc., yeah, Hades is a stand-up guy. Only in relative terms, though.
The one big take-away I got from Greek mythology was that life in the ancient world sucked in a lot of ways, because the Greeks were convinced that their gods (a) didn't give a damn about them or, even worse, (b) really had it in for them.

*double checks* I don't remember Artemis being a man hater, but then I don't remember much about her in general (outside of moon and bow). Also, Hera's daughter is hot.
