Description

The basic design descriptions for these characters were generated by ChatGPT, then drawn by me. Their abilities and personalities were also generated with slight modification, and their backstories are written by me.

After you say which one(s) you want, I can send you the ref(s) via discord or something so no one else steals, and you can send me points once you've received the refs! If you don't have discord we can figure something out. I might be able to pm here now that I think about it.

Leafwing/Rainwing They/them

Abilities: Can camouflage and change colors with concentration; doesn't automatically change color with emotion. Cannot venom spit, very weak leafspeak.

Personality: Vine’s personality is vibrant and energetic, and they like exploring. They have a deep connection with nature, though they lack full leafspeak. They are playful and mischievous, and they often play pranks on others with their camouflage abilities. Despite their whimsicality, Vine has a strong sense of duty, and though they enjoy others’ company, they also enjoy being alone. They are quite ambiverted.

Backstory: Vine lives in the Pyhrrian rainforest. Their mother was a Leafwing, and their father was a Rainwing. In typical Rainwing parent fashion, their father is absent and Vine never knew him. Their mother, a former member of the Poisonwing faction of Leafwings, moved to the rainforest because it reminded her of home without the danger. She tried to raise Vine to be strong and independent, and had them go to school with the other Leafwing families in the rainforest, but they often goofed off in classes, and eventually she relented and let Vine learn with the other Rainwings. Vine has a deep respect for their mother, and appreciates her far more than they let on. They don’t have many close friends, but they don’t have any real enemies either.

Mudwing/Skywing She/her
Abilities: Fire breathing at will, extended breath holding

Personality: Coal is loyal and protective, with a fiery spirit. She’s adventurous, but also very level-headed. Despite her imposing appearance, she likes taking care of dragonets and teaching them.

Backstory: Coal was born to a Mudwing mother and Skywing father. The two were close allies in the war of Sandwing succession, and both were quite open about their relationship, despite disapproval from higher-ups. They somehow managed to not get fired, and after the war they started living in Possibility, where they had Coal. She didn’t have any siblings, unfortunately, so she spent a lot of time with her cousins. Coal was raised with the military rigor expected from her parents, and thrived in the environment, although she did get rebellious as a teenager, as most teenagers do. She had always dreamed of joining the military as a child, but when she got older and her parents told her how terrible war actually was, she changed her mind and started working at a daycare center. She loved it there, and has worked there ever since.

Prickly Pear (Taken by DireWerewolfGirl )
Sandwing/Rainwing She/her
Abilities: Tail barb's venom is somewhat more potent. Colorful patterns can change colors and camouflage, but no other part can. Cannot breathe fire or spit venom.

Personality: Prickly Pear is vivacious, adventurous, and eager to explore. She is playful and mischievous, and enjoys the unexpected. She is resilient and adaptable, but has a love for beauty and creativity.
Backstory: Prickly Pear's mother, a Sandwing, had fallen in love with a Rainwing that had stumbled through the magic portal tunnel thingy, and the two had Prickly Pear. Her father stayed in the desert for a while, but he moved back to the rainforest after a while since he couldn’t stand the desert environment for long. Her parents aren’t divorced, they just live in different places. As a dragonet, Prickly Pear would switch between each parent every month, and the three made it work. Now she lives in the Scorpion Den.

Skywing He/him
Abilities: Typical Skywing abilities
Personality: Zephyr is described as being a thrill-seeker, always pushing his limits. He has a competitive spirit that drives him to excel in aerial acrobatics and speed contests. Despite his bold exterior, Zephyr is known for being friendly and sociable. He enjoys company and is quick to form friendships. His loyalty is unwavering, and he is always willing to help. Beneath his adventurous demeanor, he has a deep sense of responsibility, and aspires to be a protector of his tribe.
Backstory: I didn't write one for him, sorry, you can make up your own
