I think this is one of my favorite sketch cards ever.

There was quite a lot of talk about the texture and coating on the new set. And there was just as much grumbling about it too. I was not looking forward to getting these thinking I would either have to water down the process to just get them done, or use a medium I wasn't wanting to use as not to waste time using one that wouldn't work.

While I have to say I DID try my trusty markers * which I seem to ONLY use these days * I also found that it's not THAT bad. There is a difference, but it's not unbearable....SO.....

Another return card I spent a lot of time on. I wanted to tackle this shot of Queen Amidala last year on Galaxy 5 but it just didn't happen. So I kept it in my reference folder on my thumb drive and decided it would be one of the first things I drew on this new set. This particular costume has a lot of memories attached to it as I helped a friend recreate it for a mutual friend of ours for Halloween of 2000.
