We've yet to actually do a proper photoshoot for this one, and thanks to some douchebag at Anime North who crashed into her and broke her shoulder armor, we will likely have to wait a bit for it to happen.So have some con shots, over a month late

I've seen Emmy with this costume at AN2010 swarmed by photographers, but did not had a chance to get a good picture myself,
since I was rushing to the photoshoot.
Great work! Hopefully, it was not too hot wearing it.

It's two layers of different spandex suits, the bottom of which is hand-painted to look like machinery, with high-impact polystyrene for the armor pieces.

I love what you guys have done with (what is that, fabric paint, maybe?) the legs to make it look like her wires and stuff. Nice illusion. How DO you finance these things?

We both work, shop sales, and use what we have as much as possible. I work at Fabricland, so I know what's on sale and when, and have my employee discount.

Very lame :< It was a hit-and-run! If I had been able to run, I would have chased the guy and [verbally] beaten the crap outta him.

Yeah, tons of fun, it was the best turn out between my friends for people cosplaying. we had a whole group of three! Though I believe next year we're attempting to do the Avengers. So we'll have to see how that turns out. I get to be purple green arrow >.> I mean Hawkeye!
