It's not finished yet and I coul've probably made it better but this is what you get when you think you should cosplay one of the most difficult cosplays you've ever done one week before the convention...XD Yeah...That's me alright. ^^"So this was made mostly with cardboard and a hot glue gun. I had pretty much everything I needed at home so I didn't spend too much money on it.^^ For the little details and Textures I just walked through my craft store and grabbed whatever I thought fit.
Hope you guys like it. :>
I'll cosplay Levi tomorrow.

((Hello! I have a convention 2 months from now and I am DESPERATELY looking for someone who can make me this exact gear for my Armin Arlert cosplay because I have ZERO crafting skills //very terribly and sloppy with simply cutting/pasting a piece of paper onto another, so imagine that// and the prices of these gears on the internet are waay too expensive for me that it's IMPOSSIBLE! >__<))
((Your maneuver gear is so perfect, and since you mentioned you didn't spend so much on it, along with the fact that you are able to pull this off in just a week, I thought it'd be so perfect to give you this looong amount of time (month or so) to recreate this awesomeness for me (It'd be much more affordable for me) if you accept commissions? XD Me and my friends are doing a AOT cosplay group at port con this year, I've been looking for picks of people's 3D gear, this looks great. I have to make five pairs of the boxes, and the swords. So I can use all the help I can get, their made out of wood so spray paint should work well? They have moving parts so I have a lot of work ahead of me xDD.

Oh nice~. XD Woah but 5 pairs- That's a lot of work. O.o Be sure to plan in a lot of time for them. Are you sure you want to make them out of wood? It's gonna be pretty heavy, especially if you want to walk around a convention. I made them out of Cardboard and nearly lost it walking around a day. But yes, spray paint should work well. Just use silver and a darker gray for a more used look.

Thanks for the feed back, I use a different type of wood for the swords, a really light kind. it seems to work well, But thanks the reason why i ask is, because when i put silver spray paint on my last sword it didn't work or look right.. So i'm gonna have to do my best, lol i'm a one person army. I so need to find some other people that know this stuff. ill send you some updates when i get to work on it,

I'm doing one too(mostly made out of cardbord and plastic bottles) and I was wondering 1. what material did you use to do the belts,or if you bought them,how much did they cost?2.what material did you use for the''back''?

I bought 6 belts for 5 euros per piece and cut them up. (They are regular brown leather belts.) For the back piece I used a kind of plastic...I don't actually know what it's called but you can cut it, bend it and it doesn't break. Sorry but I don't know the name since I bought it years ago. :/ Hope that helped.
