As the leaves turn and the weather gets colder it's important to find someone to cuddle with in order to stay warm. There is little more snug than the sound of crunching leaves and softly rumbling tummies.
I tried out quite a few more technical...techniques with this piece. Working with different styles of shading, pattern fitting, and a background with half an effort put into it. Plus a bit of experimental overlays of color to hopefully give that early afternoon vibe, just as the sky begins to turn to match the leaves. I hope the realistic textures don't clash with the cartoon art-style too obtusely.

Winter is closing in on us soon, and I wanted to show my gratitude to the beautiful Fall season before it's over. It's one of my top 4 favorites, for sure.
