Lake O'Hara

This lake sure was hard to get to. After camping for 2 days Grant *Millsy1 and I decided we weren't going to camp out at Lake O'Hara, so I called and cancelled the campsite but expressed we still wanted to go up on the bus for the day. Apparently you can't do this, and since my cellphone was dead they could not contact me to tell me so.
We get to the bus and the lady tells us that since I didn't call 4 days in advance we didn't get much of the $60 back. They kept $47. She told us that she would have to put us on the waiting list for the day trip bus because they only allow 42 people up there. It just ended up that 2 people from a 4 party group showed up for the day trip. The very nice park lady offered their seats for us for free since the people didn't want a refund.

This trail is the easiest of the trails, it is the Lakeshore Loop. Most of the other hikes in this area are alpine trails. Some ladies coming from one of the trails had wet pants from the snow being to their knees.

This was the first day in 3 days where it didn't rain and it ended up being almost cloudless. Kind of but oh well, you work with what you are given.
