The arrangement is lovely with the focus precisely where it should be, both in subject and in color contrast. The exposure seems just a wee-bit on the over side, but nothing serious, and may be due to how DA redisplays images. The focus point probably needed to be moved closer to the lens vice the edge of the log, since the color and subject focus really is the rose. Either a larger depth of field (smaller aperture) or focusing a tad closer would correct that slight deficiency. This focus issue is only apparent when the image is enlarged to any significat degree, so I don't think it's a major issue, but I do think it could be distracting with some people.
Emotionally, this works very well with the accompanying piece and complements the vision quite well.

Thank you so much for taking the time to critique this! I know, the focus is a problem. My camera is a refurbished piece and sometimes it really gives me trouble with the focus. At times it simply won't focus at all. It's really frustrating. I'm so excited when I get a good clear image, because it doesn't happen as often as I'd like. This shot I'd thought would turn out better then it did, but it focused more on the wood then the rose. But then, I thought it took to the title well that way, so I posted it anyway. I'm glad you think it's not too distracting. I appreciate your input!

Ok since photography is not my subject manner I'm not going to give a long winded review, but I will say this before I move on.
AWW THATS SUCH A PRETTY FLOWER THOUGH T-T.
Now moving right along, I have to ask if there was any form of editing done to this picture. the reason for my question is because the flower itself seems a bit to bright, and looking at it's center makes me semi dizzy. Also the background foliage just seems to have that movie "Let's ignore the background now" kind of effect going on, but that may just be how camera's work. As Saber hawk said it'd make more sense if the picture was more centered on teh rose just a tiny bit but eh still great.
Not much else for me to say.
