I felt so bad for not drawing anything for the last birthday of my lovely friend WhiteDiamondsLtd , I made it a priority to draw something for her birthday today!
I know she just loves RariJack works, lol, so naturally I had to draw something with these two. 
I went for more cute style than shipping. I personally think Applejack looks the best, I love that kinda bashful embarrassed smile. 
Though I also like Rarity sticking out her tongue. I don't know, I've always found it immensely adorable when ponies do stuff like that. 
Anywho, I truly hope you like this, Dia! I can't even begin to express how much I love you as an artist and person! Thanks for giving me the motivation to make the transition to digital art in the first place! I hope you love this, and are having a stellar birthday, my dear!

Adorable little darling ponies!! How incredibly cute are they!? Once again you have demonstrated what an incredibly sweet and thoughtful person you are, and I'm not even sure what I have done to deserve such amazing gifts and lovely words (not for the first time, either!), but nevertheless I have to thank you so sincerely, dear! They are SO incredibly cute, and yes Applejack especially I would have to agree, and I am just so touched that you took the time to do something like this for me, and always have nothing but kind and charitable things to say about me, however much time may go by. Attending college is not at all a bad thing, quite the opposite in fact, I would say! I understand that it might not be where you want to be at this time in your life, but I do believe it will benefit you in the long run, so don't allow it to get you down at all. And yes, as I did miss out on that congratulations on graduating! I won't tell you when I did, that would make me feel far too old I think...
And ahh, you have figured me out, perhaps. Hooves would be an excellent reason for why it takes me so long to get back to comments, wouldn't they? I'm going to keep that excuse in mind for future usage...

Ah, but i'm getting off topic, sorry if I do so alot. I do know college is the right move, my initial thought about what to do after high school was sign up for the military honestly. Either Army or National Guard, probably the latter. My best friend signed up for the Marines after high school, and he's still in boot camp as far as I know. But I didn't when I realized it would likely mean not being able to draw anymore. 
But come on, I'm sure you're not that old, lol. And even if you are, I'm sure you've aged beautifully.
As for the hooves, I knew I was on to something, lol. It's as good of an excuse as anything, yes?

Mind you that doesn't mean you should be a dick and just say outright that something isn't up to snuff, but if the artist asks, best to be blunt.
I will admit too I like that piece much more too. Though I still hate the background on that piece too. XD Hey can ask, what do you think of the background I did for that piece? I'm always afraid my backgrounds are too prominent and hurt the impact of the characters. What do you think of it doll?

I'm not sure if you should partake in being a National Guard, is that something involved with the US military?
Also, in regards to your artwork I was trying to give you an example and comparison. Like I said, when I like an artwork I will comment, when I love one the person will get a favourite and comment from me. It's quite simple at least I do that. Plenty of individuals here don't really do either anymore
As for the background, I actually thought it was a strong background that made a lovely contrast to Rarity's wardrobe

Yes, it is, lol. It's a branch of the armed forces. Basically, it's kinda like a domestic version of the Army. National Guardsmen often stay in state and don't leave the country, and help with domestic problems. A lot of Missouri Guardsmen helped out after the Joplin Tornado I told you about for example, helping survivors.
I thought about joining them because I don't have what it takes for Marines, for sure, lol, and I'm not big into the idea of Navy or Air Force. Army was my initial thought, but that would probably mean leaving the country.
I'm very supportive of my military (most of the people in my mom's side are military people. My grandma was in the Army, grandfather and numerous uncles were in Marines, etc), so the idea of signing up doesn't bother me really.
And thank you for the background thoughts, I suppose I see your thoughts.
And in regards to favorites and such, I always comment and favorite your works, because I love them so much, lol.
