Maple Story starts out pretty awesome, but when you get into it you realize that its nothing more than butter churning.
Every quest is mostly Kill a bunch of enemies, grab a bunch of stuff, or kill a bunch of enemies and grab a bunch of stuff while you get money and experience to raise numbers so that you can go and kill more enemies and grab more stuff.
This would only help if the action RPG side of it had actual good gameplay and not a mosh pit of rock 'em sock 'em robots with you just spamming skills and hoping your enemies die while you chug potions because you cannot dodge attacks, defeating the purpose of making it an action game.
Events and socializing make the game fun and it starts out awesome, then it becomes lame when you realize events aren't in depth, gameplay is dull, and quests are nothing more than chores. Not to mention classes don't really add much of a deference and some aren't very satisfying and/or don't have much support equipment wise (the Pirate for instance).
Yeah the game is charming and all that, but in terms of gameplay, it is pretty poor in terms with trying to be an action RPG.

Jajajaja, qué risa me dio al ver al warrior huyendo, eres fighter, paige o lancer? En verdad que de los pocos dibujos de maple que valen la pena de lo tan genial, el color, la forma y la expresión. va a sonar muy lanzado pero o.o ¿en qué servidor estás? en el Global?
