Avro Lancaster B.X of the Canadian Warplane Heritage over flies Little Gransden during her historic visit to the UK back in 2014. Her appearance at Little Gransden was particularly poignant as the airfield is situated just a couple of miles away from former RAF Gransden Lodge which based Lancasters from No.405 Squadron RCAF during world war two.Related content

on remembance day they did a fly over with the lancaster spitfire and hurricane was amazing hearing the merlin engines at low altitude

Awesome shot! The Lancaster is one of my favourite planes and my second favourite British WWII era plane after the Spitfire.
