I think it should be illegal to clip the wing tips on a spitfire. It ruins the look

I couldn't disagree more I'm afraid. I like my Spitfires pointy tailed, wide ruddered, with a cut down fuselage and teardrop canopy, with clipped wings and with a Griffon up front turning five blades personally. Each to their own of course.
In short, I like this one very much.
