This is pretty cool I like the colors specifically because it's hard to get such perfect exposure for both the sky and the trees. I suppose it's relative here but it's something I've always had a problem with, i'll have to try that 1.5+ thing.

Keep it up, you're getting a lot better. Once you more understand your camera and how to properly work with exposure (balancing aperature/shutterspeed/iso(below 200 even for night shots!)/white balance) then you can more artistically work with your phtographing to greater control how much you can alter what you see on the cam to suit what you see in your head to show the world what you're seeing.

The exposure in this picture was perfect. Do you use the auto setting on your camera or do you use manual? In any case you got a great range of tones, both the sky and the trees are exposed well with no blown out bright areas and literally no blacked out shadows.

Keep this sort of work up!

Thanks! For this particular shot, I increased the exposure to a +1.5, otherwise everything came out looking really dull. Other than that, thanks for the compliments.

Im guessing your camera was using some sort of matrix or center weighted metering and exposed for the trees which woulda made it darker. Nicely done compensating for that
