My Russian isn't as good as it could be, but it is supposed to say "Future [of] Europe?" and "Socialism!".

They would have wiped out Bin-Laden and his crew more than twenty years ago.

It's more sinister than that. The CIA went into Afghanistan BEFORE the Russians - they began training the Mujahideen in preparation for an arraged war of attrittion that they designed to be like Russia's Vietnam. They then made the leader of Afghanistan INVITE the Russians to come and help him with the Mujahideen, and say that he and his people were ready to become part of the glorious Soviet Union. On Christmas Day the Russian Army rolled in expecting to be greeted with triumphant fanfare, but it had all been a scam to drag them into a hairball which would prove to be the last financial straw for the motherland.
It's frightening how easily the CIA shapes history.

The part of becoming part of the USSR is new to me, but which way ever they got invited, the Soviets got dragged into an already running civil war to bring stabilization and peace and ended up getting shot at with CIA-send weaponry.
And yes, the CIA can be pretty scary ... Afghanistan ... Chile ... >_>

And let's not forget the secret death-ray base they have on the Moon.
