OK. Well there have been dozens of Scooby shows over the years, one of the most controversial ones was Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo. Long story short, many fans say the Scrappy hurt the show for a while.

He was annoying, took up way too much spotlight from Fred, Daphne and Velma(as well as some of their own traits) and never got any sort of punishment for his actions. As a result, he's become one of the most hated characters of all time alongside Jar Jar Binks.
