Thank you. Really. This helps alot... I'm struggling with my motivation, just cause of the fact that I have to catch up so much wasted time. And im asking me always, is it possible to reach a level I could have reached, if I dont wasted time playing pc etc. Im at the beginning of my Game Design study and would like do nothing more, than working as an concept artist after finishing it. Sure, it just depends one me. But I would be pleased if you could give me an advice.. opinion or something like that. Is wasted time also lost time?

Da wurschtel ich mir irgendwas in Englisch zurecht und merk erst jetzt, dass Du sogar in der gleichen Stadt beheimatet bist. Nun.. gewiss liegt es einzig allein an einem selbst, inwieweit man was aus seiner Zeit macht. Das Bild hier dient ja als bester Beweis. Nur, ich habe die nervige Angewohnheit Sachen nicht durchzuziehen, welche gar nicht mehr die Möglichkeit besitzen, perfekt zu werden. Oder ein gewisses Level erreichen, eben auf Grund der Zeit - des Alters. Und wenn es nur um die Möglichkeit geht und nicht darum was wirklich umgesetzt wird - ganz gleich ob perfekt oder nicht. Man hat viel Zeit mit Hobbys verschwendet, die einen an nichts bereichert haben. Nun befinde ich mich am Anfang meines Game Design Studiums und überlege, welche Richtung genau ich überhaupt einschlagen möchte. Animieren.. Texturieren.. alles super, aber die schönste Form sich mit einem Hobby, wie das des Zeichnens, in den Prozess einer Spieleentwicklung zu integrieren, ist meiner Ansicht nach immer noch die des Concept Designs. Zugleich verlangt diese Richtung aber auch am meisten ab.
Ich wäre Dir sehr dankbar, würdest du Deine Meinung diesbezüglich mit mir teilen
