Second advanced lesson of Disney Art Academy, focused on Techniques for 3D drawings  .

Of all the illustrations in this section of the advanced lessons, I would say this is the one that looks the most two-dimensional of the 4 I did . Or at least that's the impression I get with Joy from Inside Out. But it's only a minor complaint because I love the results I got with this character .

I still remember the first time I saw the movie and it really made me cry near the end . It's a beautiful movie and it's one of the best things Pixar has put out in recent years. However, I still stick with the Toy Story franchise as my favorite .

On other matters, in a previous post I had shared with you a remix of a Shin Megami Tensei soundtrack, and a couple of days ago I started Shin Megami Tensei 4. With only a few hours of playing it, I can say that it is becoming one of my favorites .

Well, when I'm starting to really like something I usually dig more about it, and I came up with the idea of making one of the demons of the franchise but in 3D, and also as part of the 256fes challenge . This challenge, created by @FeelzenVr on Twitter, consists of creating 3D models with the limitation that they can only have 256 vertices or less, and the textures must be a maximum of 256x256 px.

I'm still undecided about which of these demons I'm going to model in 3D (because there are a lot of them, but I've already decided that it won't be Jack Frost because I want to give the opportunity to other demons to stand out), but I'll let you know here and on Twitter the moment I start with the challenge .

Pikachu, on the other hand, has been progressing at a snail's pace , but, apart from the mouth and eyes textures, the 3D model is practically finished. It may not come out this week, but I hope to have it ready for this month .

As for the second spaceship, don't even ask because school has me up to my neck with homework . But what I can point out about one of my assignments is that, apparently, I have to program a Paint-like application . It's going to be basic, but it's a huge step for me. If you're interested in it, I can share the program with you once I've finished it .

And speak of the devil, it looks like, if the COVID-19 caseload stays low for a month as of today, I will be returning to face-to-face classes at the end of the Easter break . And I've been told that they are being a disaster because they haven't updated the means with which I can do programming work since the pandemic started (and they were already way out of date before the virus outbreak). Even with that, they had the nerve to charge the same semester fee that would have to be paid if they had face-to-face classes, during the periods of online classes .

This may make delivering more content for you more complicated, but I just need to apply new strategies to manage my time .

In order not to close this description with complaints, I have opened a Ko-fi account, but I don't plan to share it at this time . First I want to deliver a new 3D model (be it Pikachu, Star Wars' Chopper, Mickey Mouse, SpongeBob or some other I feel like doing at the moment).
