Gosh I hope so. I sent her prints of everything else Temeraire I've done to date. When I get the final color piece back from the colorist (who did an AMAZING job), I will post it up here.

Beautiful one! I can't wait to see this in full color (especially because Laurence's coat looks more Naval blue than Aviator green). I love the design; it reminds me of Laurence and Temeraire ending their little quiet moment before the Battle of Dover in His Majesty's Dragon.

You could kind of construe this as Laurence being in a bit of a huffy mood ...but would a flapping cloak be practical in flight? I think James wore a cloak but he didn't have to move around on Volly. Ah, it works for pose purposes and it is a good picture. Already impatient for your next Temeraire drawing

I suppose that is indeed the case, though not the intent. The Cloak I think would be a necessity, with temperatures in the air being nearly unbearably cold. I suppose they would more often be wrapped around one's self on journeys, though when going to battle, I think their outfits would be wholly different - more leathery, fitting tighter, but with a range of motion. I saw this scene as more of the two of them about to take off for an evening flight around the covet.
