While doing this art piece I thought of the spiritual death and decay that exists all around me among the elites, who believe they have everything and that by virtue of their riches they are somehow better than others who have less than they; those less fortunate are seen as expendables. Here is a society priding itself on the "mining" of extensive amounts of resources of all types, having all they want at their fingertips, and yet they are spiritually dead, and can neither discern nor enjoy the deeper pleasures of life! The are hollowed out as the mines they dig, only to find there is nothing and no one to fill that emptiness.

Sad is the state of our world today, but there is hope! ONE LIGHT, bright and true, burning forever - that is Jesus Christ, the King of kings and LORD of lords! All who come to him shall be saved!!!

The world is ending as we know it, but what cones afterward is a wealth that will far surpass the physical even while including physical riches more than even the filthy rich can imagine, for ultimately God created these things and continues to create them!! There is no greater gift than eternal life with God and with eternal families who are dedicated to God and to one another in love!
