Recently, I attended RI Comic Con. This was my third year attending, & I had a lot of fun! I obtained many great autographs, & I will be sharing them here!

Here is one of my autographs. This one is from Levar Burton, who is a well known actor & director best known for projects such as playing Kunta Kinte in the TV miniseries Roots, playing Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge in the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation, & of course for hosting the beloved children's TV series Reading Rainbow - a show about the joys of reading books! Other notable projects he is known for include Looking For Mr. Goodbar, Dummy, Our Friend Martin, Ali, Captain Planet & The Planeteers, Star Trek: Picard, & directing several TV episodes of various shows & the TV movie Smart House. Currently, I believe he runs a podcast that's a sort-of continuation of Reading Rainbow, which I completely approve of! He was very nice to me, & he was impressed by the artwork I did for him, as was everyone else who was present with him at his table.

Here is an imaginary scenario for what I imagine a potential TV reboot of Reading Rainbow to look like. So, here we have Levar Burton opening up a magical book that reveals the reading rainbow itself, & getting his cartoon sidekicks hyped up & ready for reading. These cartoon sidekicks I made up are a group of green worms who love books, a.k.a. "bookworms". As an added bonus, the Bookworms are dressed up as characters Levar has played over the years. From left to right, one is dressed up as Kunta Kinte, another is dressed like Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge, & the third one is dressed like Kwame from Captain Planet & The Planeteers (he even has the magic "Earth" ring on his tail). Anyway, I hope you guys like this, & if you're reading this Mr. Burton, thank you so much for signing my drawing! Should I ever publish one of my future books, I hope that you'll get a chance to read it for your reading rainbow!
